While making their appearance on the talk show, “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” the pair came out with their first meeting.
However, the actor with $2 million net worth, confessed the whole lot of their first meeting.
“We actually met a very long long time ago. I very drunkenly asked her for her number when she was a young, single, slip of a thing, so I sort of knew then when I was 26."

The 42 years old actor, who is also famous for his work for his gay role in "Brothers and Sisters," added,
"She asked me to open a beer after a kickball party,"
The actress also recalled the day when she and Rhys met for their new project together “The Americans.”
“We did all the readings together and all the things, and after a heavy dose of fight training, all sweaty, at lunch, you said, 'Oh, you know we've met before,'"
She added,
"I said, 'No we haven't,' and you said, 'Yeah, we've met before, like 10 years ago at kickball.' As soon as he said that, I knew exactly what [happened] and I opened my eyes, like, 'Oh! Of course, I remember that.'"
Things did work that well at first between the pair, as Russell didn’t return the call after Rhys left her a “drunken voicemail.” However, it seems they are just meant to be together, as they happened to met a decade later on the set of their critically acclaimed FX show. Then, everything turned out well after they started working together.
The pair officially started dating from 2014, and we can see how happy they are together, but the most frequently asked question was about the pair is, “are they getting married?” Or is Matthew Rhys now ready to turn his longtime girlfriend into a wife?

The Twosome Share A Baby Together!
A couple of years after dating, Matthew and Keri are now parenting a child. Keri gave birth to her baby no.3 back in 2016. She revealed the name and sex of the newborn kid in April in an interview with NBC’s Today, after Matt Lauer asked her about the newborn baby.
Russell spontaneously answered,
"We had a boy,"
She further added that they named him Sam.
