The group released their debut album 3LW in 2000. Their first single “No More” definitely was a smash hit followed by another single “Playas Gon’ Play.” About 1.3 million copies were sales later Naturi became a household name.

However, in 2002, she left the group and pursued a solo career. She recorded five tracks for the Fame soundtrack and even has a keen interest in recording a solo album.

Naturi began her involvement in acting since 2005. She starred in the Tony-Award winning Broadway musical “Hairspray” from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, she got to act as Grammy Award-winning rap artist Lil’ Kim in “Notorious.” The film was a big hit, making $43 million worldwide. She portrayed the character Denise in “Lionsgate” which was the remake of 1980’s film “Fame.” The movie made $77 million.
It was in 2010 that she made her appearance in the television series “Mad Men.” In the same year, she played in another comedy film, “Lottery Ticket.” In 2011, she made her appearance in the television drama series “The Playboy Club.” She was also a cast in “It’s always sunny in Philadelphia” and “the Client List.”
