The host of Team Ninja Warrior, Akbar Gbaja-Bianmila, who is popular for his "Akbarism," has never been out of limelight even after his retirement from the NFL. We see him hosting the game shows now and then with his co-host Matt Iseman, and he seems as lively as he used to be in the past during the matches.

Knowing The Professional Akbar:

After having played college football for San Diego State University, he started his professional career as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He recorded seven tackles in his stats for the first season and gradually ameliorated his game to prove himself a successful player.

Throughout his career, he has played for Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, and Miami Dolphins, and has recorded several tackles and sacks holding the position of DE (Defensive End) to build up a rock-solid NFL stats.

He retired in the year 2007 but played for Oakland Raiders in 2008 in an offseason match.

After the retirement, he began his after-NFL-Life working as a sports analyst for CBS Sports Network and the Mtn. Network for two years.

Later in 2012, he joined NFL Network as a member of the NFL Fantasy Live cast of hosts and successively become the host for American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman.

As of 2016, the hosts appeared with a spin-off ANW called Team Ninja Warrior.

ANW airs on NBC while TNW airs on Esquire Network and they both are heart-racing obstacle-course competition series.

The former NFL star has a net worth of $7 million, while he hasn't reported any source about his salary.

Akbar has a great role to play as the man of the house, after all, his every success comes from the family. He has a beautiful family of six members, including him.
