The host of Team Ninja Warrior, Akbar Gbaja-Bianmila, who is popular for his "Akbarism," has never been out of limelight even after his retirement from the NFL. We see him hosting the game shows now and then with his co-host Matt Iseman, and he seems as lively as he used to be in the past during the matches.

Well, the fans of Akbar, who followed his matches and now support his "Akbarism," are going to have a great session ahead, as we assure you to enlighten with his football career and after-career lives.

Knowing The Professional Akbar:

After having played college football for San Diego State University, he started his professional career as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He recorded seven tackles in his stats for the first season and gradually ameliorated his game to prove himself a successful player.

Throughout his career, he has played for Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, and Miami Dolphins, and has recorded several tackles and sacks holding the position of DE (Defensive End) to build up a rock-solid NFL stats.

He retired in the year 2007 but played for Oakland Raiders in 2008 in an offseason match.

After the retirement, he began his after-NFL-Life working as a sports analyst for CBS Sports Network and the Mtn. Network for two years.

Later in 2012, he joined NFL Network as a member of the NFL Fantasy Live cast of hosts and successively become the host for American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman.

As of 2016, the hosts appeared with a spin-off ANW called Team Ninja Warrior.

ANW airs on NBC while TNW airs on Esquire Network and they both are heart-racing obstacle-course competition series.

The former NFL star has a net worth of $7 million, while he hasn't reported any source about his salary.

The Reason Behind Akbar's Success: His Family!

Akbar has a great role to play as the man of the house, after all, his every success comes from the family. He has a beautiful family of six members, including him.

Although the former player hasn't disclosed any information related to his past relationship and the marriage, he never backs off to appear in public places with his family.

A beautiful wife named Chrystal Gbaja-Biamila has been accompanying him throughout his marital life, and they share four children together: two daughters and two sons.

The two elder kids are Elijah and Saheedat Bianmila, while the names of the younger kids, who are twins as well, are Naomi and Nasir Bianmils.
