That wasn't it for Alex, as love knocked at her door in the most unexpected way, and jockey Richard Quinn entered her life. The romance between Alex and Quinn blossomed beautifully, and they even tied the knot and got married in 2007.
But again, like Alex’s previous relationships, her marriage with her former husband Richard Quinn could not last more than nineteen months and ended in a divorce in 2009.
Alex's husband Richard Quinn spoke on the separation and shared that despite the spit they still want to remain friends.
'We've split up. Alex is keeping her horses here, but she's not living here anymore. We are still in contact. We want to remain friends.'
When further inquired if the third person was involved in the split, Quinn stated,
'There's no one else from my side, I can tell you that categorically, but you will have to speak to Alex about from her side.'
A pal of Alex claimed that there is no third party involved too!
