People find their other half at some point in their life; all they have to do is have the courage to take the next step. Cody Nickson, a military man, and houseguest on 'Big Brother,' displayed that courage; he proposed his girlfriend, whom he met in the sets of the show and is now all set to welcome a married life together.

Let's take a closer look at their moment of happiness and find out when the couple's planning to get married!

Proposed Girlfriend On Hilltop

Cody Nickson found his girl of dreams while competing for the season 19 of 'Big Brother,' the reality series with game challenges. Cody, who has been dating Jessica Graf, one of his fellow contestants in the show, has now turned his girlfriend into finance.

The Big Brother star popped the question to his girl just the day before Valentine's Day on the top of the Runyon Canyon. Cody shared a video of his proposal to Jessica on his Youtube page, and in the video, he is seen running to the top of the Runyon Hill, where he waits for her so that he would ask Jessica to marry him.

At the beginning of the video, Cody, who once pledged to turn girlfriend into his wife, explains the scenario before his proposal to his viewers. He says,

“I’m running to get ahead of Jessica. She’s going up Runyon Canyon right now. I’m gonna meet her at the top of the hill and propose,”

Jessica said, "Yes" to Cody's proposal with tears of happiness in her eyes.

Moreover, Cody, through his Instagram, shared a 'Thank you' note to everybody involved in making his plan a success directly or indirectly. Sharing a part of the video, Cody wrote,

“I found my true love, I got the ring, only one thing left to do,Thank the Lord, thank you to everyone who prayed for us, thank you BB for casting us so we could meet, thank you Joey Hamra @hamradiamonds in NYC for helping me design the perfect ring. Thank you Lori for helping keeping it a secret since I’m with Jess every waking moment. Thank you to my sisters and mom and dad for making Jess family … we are blessed.”

Similarly, Jessica also shared part of the video on her Instagram while she said "Yes" to marrying Cody. She confessed that the couple was trying to keep the news "under the wraps" until they shared the news with their family members, but her fans surely are the enthusiastic ones. She wrote,

“I said yes! On Tuesday, February 13th my best friend asked me to marry him. He’s made my dreams come true every day since we met! I love you + there’s no one else in the world for me. You’re my person and I thank God for you coming into my life!

We were trying to keep it under wraps until we could tell our families but you guys beat us to it! Lol Thank you to Joey Hamra from Hamra Diamonds for helping my FIANCÉ ? design my dream ring!!
I’m a happy happy girl!”

The duo had been the best of friends since the beginning leading them to take the next big step in their relationship.

However, on 21 February 2018, Jessica opened up with the US Weekly about the moment of proposal. Jessica, when asked if she knew about the surprise, she replied,

"Don’t get me wrong, I was definitely praying for one! But the proposal was an absolute surprise! I didn’t even think he had been ring shopping yet let alone have one right in his pocket all day! It was perfect. Running up a mountain just to surprise me with a gorgeous yellow diamond … very Cody fashion"

Moreover, when asked about their wedding and where would they plan to take those marriage vows, Jessica responded,

"The wedding will be in the fall! We’re both very excited! There’s a lot of planning to do so we’re going to hit the ground running. I would love to have the wedding on a vineyard somewhere here in Los Angeles."

While Jessica is looking for a perfect wedding planner who would create a vision of their ideal wedding, Cody expressed he wanted Texas Roadhouse to cater the wedding.

In the same interview with US Weekly, the couple, when asked if they wanted to have kids any sooner, Cody replied:

"10, ASAP".

Jessica added,

"We’re planning to have the wedding in the fall so that we can start a family sooner rather than later."

However, the couple took another step in spending life together by walking down the aisle.

Wedding Bells With Growing Family

Well, just after the engagement, the couple marched their way onto the next step as they exchanged the wedding vows. The couple tied the nuptial knot recently in October 2018.

The wedding took place in Los Angeles, where Cody's now-wife wore a Mark Zunino wedding dress for their big day.

Before their wedding ceremony, the couple presented their fans with another happy news. It turns out Cody and Jessica are expecting the newest member into their family, making it a family of three.

The pregnancy announcement came in September when Jessica shared an ultrasound photo on Instagram, revealing the news through the caption. She divulged how excited she is to welcome their first baby girl together. She wrote,

"WE'RE PREGNANT! And I'm over the moon! I'm so excited to bring our first child into this life we have created together!"

Well, the couple took on the new commitments with their wedding and new responsibilities as they welcomed their baby girl together on 17 March 2019. Jessica gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Maverick Nickson. The 2019's St. Patrick's Day (17 March) changed the couple's life forever with a new addition in their family.

Luckily, the new mom went through a (successful) C-section because she was not feeling good for a while and had extremely high blood pressure.

Well, it seems like the duo will probably have some similar news that will follow eventually as Cody in April 2019, shared a photo of him and baby Maverick with a caption that hinted he wants more babies. Whether it is a joke or not, fans could not hold their excitement over his post. Hopefully, his wife agrees with him, as well.
