American actor James Marsden has been the constant name for the famous franchise of X-men movie series. Portraying as Cyclops in the X-Men movie series, he has garnered himself much attention and fortune from his prominent roles, which his love life has also aided.

Once married man James has moved on from the past despite sharing two children and now, he has been romantically involved with his girlfriend who he seems to love dearly.

End Of Decade-Long Married Life; Dating With Actress

The former Versace model, James Marsden used to be married once for he was married to the American actress, Lisa Linde, who is known for the projects like Pacific Blue and Days of Our Lives.

James began dating actress Lisa Linde in 1995 and shared the undying chemistry during the time. After dating for about five years, the pair exchanged the marriage vows.

James and Lisa tied the nuptial knot in a wedding ceremony among their close friends and family in July 2000. They shared a perfect bonding and were looking forward to having kids together.

A year after their marriage, Lisa was pregnant with the first child. The couple was excited to welcome their first baby and eventually, in February 2001, they welcomed their bundle of joy. They were much excited while they welcomed parenthood with open hands.

Four years later, Lisa and James were expecting their second child. In August 2005, the pair welcomed their baby daughter Mary, which raised their family to five.

James, who enjoys the net worth of $8 million, had a happy family but as the time passed the relationship between them started getting sour. They had enough of their relationship and were thinking of parting ways.

Not long after the pair witnessed troubles in their marriage, the pair was signing the divorce papers. In September 2011, after more than a decade of sharing the marital bond, the couple ended their marriage citing irreconcilable differences.

After his divorce, James opened up with Men's Health where he revealed how he lost his balance in his life after his divorce. He said,

“My life hasn’t been filled with sorrow and deep struggle. When the divorce happened, it was the first time I felt I lost my equilibrium.”

Well, James believed that the divorce did not dishearten him, instead made him pull his focus into what is important.

Post his divorce from his ex-wife, James moved on with a fling with Brazillian model Rose Costa. It turns out, James shares a son William with Rose. William was born in December 2012.  They were rumored to be dating, but no further relationship detail was revealed.

Post-Divorce Life; New Found Love

After his divorce with his first wife, James Marsden, also a singer, was rumored to be seeing Edei, the English singer and songwriter. The rumors of them seeing each other surfaced the media since the summer of 2015.

The duo was linked together and also shared some chemistry. But as they both preferred keeping their relationship at bay for their fans, they did not make any official statement on their relationship.

Their romance rumors were fueled when James joined Edei onstage for a surprise duet at a show in Los Angeles in February 2016. They rarely made a public appearance which made it hard for the fans to know if they were seeing each other romantically or not.

But they were spotted together even after two years of the start of their romance rumors. In 2017, they made a public appearance and posed for a photo together at GQ Men of the Year Party, held at the Chateau Marmont in 2017 in West Hollywood.
