Sometimes the journey of love may not go the way it is supposed to, and the similar scenario occurred in Kenzie Dalton’s dating life. Kenzie Dalton dated 'One Tree Hill' star, Chad Michael Murray since December 2005 after Chas met Dalton while she was playing the role of a high school cheerleader on the show, 'One Tree Hill' alongside him at the time.

Dalton’s then-boyfriend, Murray, who was previously married to his 'One Tree Hill' co-star, Sophia Bush was going through the marriage annulment process in 2005. Murray’s divorce with Bush got finalized at the end of 2006, and until then, Dalton and Murray’s love had already blossomed, and the two were engaged.

In 2006, Chad Murray proposed to Kenzie Dalton with an oval-cut diamond ring and Kenzie accepted the proposal while she was still an 18 years old senior in high school.

Things were going, smooth till 2012 as Murray went on the records to show that he was still heel-over-head for his fiance. On 2012’s interview, Murray told US Weekly,

“She is a little stunner. She is a sweetheart. It’s been quite awhile [since we got engaged]! We just keep going.”

However, the scenario changed drastically in 2013, as the married couple-to-be took a U-turn into their relationship and parted their ways quietly. Confirming the news, Murray’s representative told USmagazine,

“Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton quietly parted ways earlier in the year. Please respect their privacy at this time.”

Following the split, Murray has moved on as he married another co-star, Sarah Roemer in January 2015 and welcomed their first child together in June 2015.

On Dalton's case, she also has moved on focusing on her career. She has divulged in both movies and TV works and contributed to the projects one after another like “Game Shakers” (2015), “The Thundermans” (2016), “Comedy Sketch TV Time, Okay?” (2017) and few others.

Dalton is currently filming upcoming thriller movie “Sazarac” where she will be portraying the role of Laurel. However, she is yet to introduce her fans to her new love interest.
