Lauren Magiera, who is currently 31 in age, was born in the year 1986 and grew up in the Northwest suburbs.
Lauren, who showed her interest in sports at the very young age, attended the University of Alaska Anchorage where she was a college athlete as well. Lauren enrolled in the university on a full-ride gymnastics scholarship and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Communications.
Lauren is now very popular as a sports anchor and reporter for WGN News team, which she joined in April of 2016. Prior that, she worked a co-host of a weekly 30-minute pre-game show with Packers Hall of Famer Larry McCarren in the NFL Green Bay Packers.
Till this date, Lauren has worked for several stations, which include ABC Alaska KIMO/FOX and NBC Alaska KTUU, where she worked as station's sports director and sports reporter respectively.
