Regarding her family, she is the middle child to her parents; mother, Veronica Heaton, and father, Joel R. Heaton.

For siblings, she had an older sister named Rachel Heaton. Unfortunately, she lost her life at the age of 21 due to liver cancer. Now, Niykee only has a brother named Cheyne Heaton.

As for her education, Niykee attended Geneva High School. Later, she landed a full scholarship at the University of Virginia. But, she dropped out of the institution to pursue her passion for music.
