Richard Dean Anderson, widely famous as  Angus MacGyver in TV series 'MacGyver'  had several girlfriends during his youth and middle age. He was in a dating relationship with actresses Teri Hatcher, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sela Ward and German ice-skater Katarina Witt. Apart from those relationships, his relationship with his girlfriend Apryl A. Prose stayed in the focal point from 1996 to 1998. 

Richard first met Apryl in New York through a mutual friend Michael Greenburg, producer of Stargate and MacGyver. While enjoying a harmonious dating relationship, they welcomed a daughter named Wylie Quinn Annarose. Apryl gave birth to Wylie on August 2, 1998.

However, the couple didn't level up their dating relationship to married life even after welcoming a daughter. Regarding marriage, Richard affirmed his plannings during an interview back in March 1999. When the reporter asked about their official union, he replied,

 Later, maybe, when Wylie is older, if she expresses such a wish, we would get married for daughter. Unless Apryl and I make the decision before then.

As of now, Richard and Apryl are living separately as Apryl got married to Jim. However, Richard remains single and is working as a catalyst for carving his daughter's career in the realm of acting and production.

Richard Dean Anderson's Life!

An American actor, Richard Dean Anderson was born on January 23, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the parents Stuart Anderson and Jocelyn. His father was a teacher at a local high school and mother was an artist who had talent in both sculpting and painting. Richard has a three younger siblings Jeffrey, Thomas, and James. He studied drama at St. Cloud State University and Ohio University.

As a teenager, he dreamed of being a professional hockey player. However, his dream turned off after the accident in which his both arms were fractured.

Richard got his breakthrough in 1976 when he appeared in the popular daytime drama 'General Hospital.' Furthermore, his popularity was multiplied after he won title character in the ABC adventure series 'MacGyver' in 1985.

After then, he played on several TV movies such as 'In the Eyes of a Stranger,' 'Through the Eyes of a Killer,' 'Beyond Betrayal,' 'Past the Bleachers' and 'Pandora's Clock.' Moreover, he found an immense success after appearing as Jack O'Neill in 'Stargate SG-1' in 1997.

As an actor, producer, and composer, Richard Dean Anderson owes a net worth of $20 million. Likewise, he has received two Saturn Awards and a Celebrity Award in 1995 from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
