Sean Waltman, a.k.a 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac to the wrestling world has had a topsy-turvy life both professionally and personally. In his career, he was a part of many wrestling groups including the Clique, X-Factor, NWO, and D-Generation X.

The professional wrestler, who competed in WWF, WCW, and TNA, had to go through a suicide attempt, his girlfriend's death, and drug arrests.

Known for his high-flying fighting style and his finishing move, the Minnesota native, found a new partner in 2015.

Professional Wrestling Career and Drug Use

He started to wrestle in 1993, but his career did not begin well.

Initially known as the 1-2-3 kid, he lost many matches before getting an upset victory against Razor Ramon.

Inthe next 12 years, he won many titles including the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship, the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, and the TNA X Division Championship. He also won tag team championship six times with various partners in WWF, WCW, and TNA.

But his success in the ring also led to partying outside of it.

He had a drug problem which had led to a divorce in 2002, but that did not stop him from indulging in various controlled substances.

On one incident, he took methamphetamine (crystal meth) before a match against AJ Styles which made him forget the finish to the game.

He also had several run-ins with the cops and was even arrested for possession of controlled substances in 2011. This was not the first time he was found with controlled substances.

In 2010, TMZ  had reported that Sean was arrested at Newark International Airport for possessing a joint and turning up without an Id.

Girlfriend Saves Him

In an interview with wrestlinginc.com in January 2011, he talked about his suicide attempt, saying,

"I hung myself from the roof of my apartment. It was the darkest moment of my life, or one of them, to get me to do that. It was a lot of build up that I didn't know how to deal with."

Later, rushed to the hospital, he waked up with his longtime friend Kevin Nash on his bedside. Nash helped in his recovery and admitted Sean to a rehabilitation center in Texas.

Again, in May 2017, the famous wrestler got reportedly arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after he was found carrying a “sizable amount” of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Sean, who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for driving, was freed later after his charges were dropped.

Married For Two Times

Sean has been married twice.

He married Terry Paulson in 1994 when he was just at the age of 19.

However, their young love could not flourish more because of their drug problems. They got divorced in 2002. The pair welcomed two children together, son Jesse Waltman and daughter Kaitlyn Waltman, while they were married.

Following the divorce with Terry, Sean started dating one of WWE wrestlers, Joanie Laurer, AKA Chyna in 2003. The couple shared an on and off relationship for two years.

They got engaged and famously made a sex tape together called '1 Night in China.'

Later, on the Steve Austin Show in June 2016, he talked about his sex tape saying,

"My best recollection, we were living in Beverly Hills [California] over here off of Beverly Glen [Boulevard] and Wilshire [Boulevard] in one of Donald Sterling's buildings. One of the people that worked there was always coming up and hanging out and it was a female security guard. I think she floated the idea about [making a sex tape] because of the Paris Hilton thing. And it just kind of built from there and she was down for it. And I was in, at that point, 'okay, I'll do whatever', whatever made her happy. It was both of our [idea]. I would never blame anything on her." X-Pac added, "I felt like dog s--t, Steve. My kids, man, my family. Not at all [proud of it], man. I try not to be ashamed of things because shame is not a good f--king thing to have. Right, but it is okay to not feel good about s--t you did in the past. And I can't, obviously, it goes without saying that we can't change it, man. But, man, I really wish that wouldn't have happened. And it hurt her, man. Even though we both were in on it, like, the artwork on the cover of the DVD was so humiliating for her and the s--t that was written on it. So I get it, man. And really, that was one of the things that led to the downward spiral and she's dead now, man."

Sadly, their relationship came to an abrupt end after Chyna was arrested for domestic assault.

Later, Chyna was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, California in April 2016 due to the consumption of alcohol and a combination of prescription drugs.

Following the death of Chyna in April 2016, Sean took some time off and became absent from social media including Twitter.

Sean again went to the Steve Austin Show in June 2016, where he gave a full speech for his late girlfriend, Chyna's memorial. In the speech, he also sparked the subject of Chyna induction into the WWE's Hall Of Fame and his desire to see Chyna's induction shortly.

"It's important to me that she gets in there. I mean, she was part of the reason, like, she was really disappointed when it didn't happen before when she wanted it. But they wanted her to get cleaned up, get some help. Come on, from their vantage point, when they get somebody to come up on the stage and accept the Hall Of Fame, to be inducted in the Hall Of Fame, they want to not worry about what they might say or make sure they're kind of stable, so I get it from that point of view. But she deserves to be in there, man. And I don't know if I'd want to go in without her going in. She deserves that sooner rather than later, man, I hope."

Following his relationship with Chyna, Sean had a relationship with former WWF Wrestler, Alicia Webb (AKA Ryan Shamrock). Sean found happiness again after getting married to American wrestler Becky Bayless.

Sexually Abused Child

Sean Waltman, born on 13 July 1972, was raised by a single mother since he was five years old.

He dropped out of school in the eighth grade, which led to limited working opportunities. He helped in making rings and in wrestling promotions before becoming a wrestler himself.

In 2012, he admitted that he was sexually abused repeatedly as a child by multiple predators including male and female, which had a profound psychological impact on him.

Despite his drug-fueled past and troubled childhood, Sean has accumulated a net worth of $500,000, which included a $10,000 in the win against Razor Ramon during Monday Night Raw in the 90's. He is currently a part of the WWE Legends Program and serves as an Ambassador for the company. He is also known for his famous podcast show X-Pac 12360.
