What the agreement also does is reunite the 32-year-old with his former coach Tom Thibodeau, who coached him from 2010 to 2015 during their times with the Bulls of Chicago.
But this is not the only reunion we would witness, as Taj will also join Bulls teammate Jimmy Butler, who found a new home with Minnesota as a result of the trade last month.
Taj Gibson's Career Stats And Injury.
Every professional athlete faces some injury concerns, and Taj Gibson is no different as he too has had some injury woes of his own. He famously suffered a strained foot against the Hawks of Atlanta, and he also suffered a hip injury against the Utah Jazz while representing The Oklahoma City Thunders.

Surely now with a new home with the Timberwolves, we can expect him to add more to his tally.
And did you know, he is the father of his daughter who he had with his former girlfriend, Tenille Melissa? Well, now you do!
Taj Gibson was born in Brooklyn, New York City on June 24, 1985, and was the 26th overall draft pick for the Chicago Bulls in the 2009 NBA draft. Gibson began his high school career at the Brooklyn, N.Y. based "High School of Telecommunication Arts and Technology" and that is where he honed his basketball skills from.
We would love to see him treat the fans at Minnesota with some more of his classics in the days to come.
