“I think if you underestimate the audience, you do so at your own peril. I think Americans, particularly in this moment, are a lot smarter than people give them credit for. They're a lot more engaged than they were before the election, whatever end of the spectrum you're on, people are definitely more engaged than they have been in many, many years ... That is a tremendous byproduct of what was a terribly bruising campaign.”

Born on November 8, 1973, David Muir is an American journalist. He was born in Syracuse, New York and raised in Onondaga Hill. He studied at Onondaga Central Junior-Senior High School and graduated in May 1991 and went to the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College located in Ithaca, New York. He has graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Park school of communications at Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Arabic and Spanish.
