Wedding bliss for yet another couple!
Stunning model Caitlin McHugh, 31, has made it to the nuptials on Saturday, getting married to her husband John Stamos at a church in Studio City, California. As per the reports, Stamos and Caitlin, who is pregnant with their first child, held their wedding reception at John’s home in Beverly Hills.
However, the newly wedded couple’s wedding plan didn’t exactly go off as they intended it to be, as Caitlin's Hotel room at the Beverly Hills got burglarized on Friday evening.
As per the confirmation received from the Beverly Hills Police Department, the unidentified thief was able to take away the jewelry estimated to be worth $ 165,000. While the unfortunate incident remains under investigation, it is known that neither McHugh nor John was in the room at the time of the burglary.
Despite the bitter experience a day before their wedding, the newly married couple, who got engaged on October 22, 2017, at Disneyland- one of Caitlin’s favorite places, should indeed be happy for their big day.
Well, it was after Caitlin got pregnant, that Stamos went on his knees popping the question. John even gushed about his proposal saying,
“The [pregnancy] happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway. So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, ‘You better!'”
The couple dated for almost two years after crossing paths on the set of Law and Order SUV back in 2011, but it was not the case of love at first sight.
As per Stamos,
“I played a guy who was so egotistical that he thought he should spread his progeny, so he had like 60 kids or something. He was poking holes in condoms and stuff. And Caitlin, ironically, was one of the girls that I was trying to fool and have a baby with,”
He added,
“That was a long time ago. She was in another relationship. And we just met back up again. Her roommate was on an episode of Fuller House, and so she was in the audience. I walked in, I went, ‘Hey, are you stalking me?’ She was like, ‘No…’ That’s why I love her. She’s like, ‘What? No. I haven’t thought of you twice.'”
