Professional commitments could soon be turning to romance!

CW's drama series Riverdale could soon have a real-life couple playing lovebirds as actors Charles Melton and Camila Mendes' dating rumors are hotting up the temperatures in the H-town.

Rumors are surfacing in the media that the Riverdale co-actors: Charles, aged 27, and Camila Mendes are dating in real life after an eyewitness claimed to have noticed them getting intimate at a movie theater in Vancouver a few days ago.

The source mentioned that his friend had spotted the alleged couple along with their Riverdale colleagues; Casey Cott and Lili Reinhart. He further stated that as the light grew dimmer due to the beginning of the movie, and his friend caught them sharing a passionate kiss.

Talking to the E! News, the source said,

"Camila sat next to Charles and leaned on his shoulder. As the lights were dimming, my friend saw them kiss!"

However, this isn't the first time the alleged couple has sparked dating rumors. There has been news of multiple sightings of the two as the pair has been reportedly spotted in different locations including the beach, the movies and even at a yacht where they partied with their friends.

Further, Charles and his assumed girlfriend were also photographed hanging out at a poolside in Coachella a few months back.

Fans even argued that the couple has been dropping hints on Instagram regarding their rumored relationship.  Camila shared footage of her besides a fireplace, and later Charles shared a video at the same spot, but the two didn't tag each other which still raises a little uncertainty about their dating matters.

Although earlier Charles' rumored girlfriend had mentioned that she didn't like dating actors, the recent development shows that Charles might have changed her mind. The alleged couple though got off on the wrong foot due to Charles' fat-shaming comments on Twitter back in 2011-12, the two eventually resolved their issues after he apologized to his supposed girlfriend, who is an advocate for body-positivity.

Camila was previously dating a man named Victor Houston but broke up with him a while back. In the meanwhile, there has no known history of any ex-girlfriend of Charles in the past.

Charles is a television actor, who has appeared in the TV show, American Horror Story: Hotel. The Alaska-born and Manhattan-raised actor started his career in 2012 as a model walking the ramp for  VLOVNew and Park & Ronen at the New York Fashion Week.

He graduated from the Kansas State University and possesses a mixed ethnicity including Korean, Caucasian, and Cherokee.  

His most prominent role includes playing Reggie Mantle in Riverdale, where he appears alongside Casey Cott, who plays a gay man in the show.
