A cable news network mentioned in a statement,
“We take issues of this nature extremely seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy for any professional misconduct. This matter is being thoroughly investigated and we are taking all of the appropriate steps to reach a resolution in a timely manner,”
Payne was a host of “Making Money” on the network and also appeared on several other programs.
The man, who got married to Yvonne Payne has acknowledged, he admitted a three-year “romantic relationship” with a female political analyst, who often appeared on Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel from 2013 to 2016.
As per sources, Payne accepted the claim in a statement which also included an apology to his family and friends.
As of now, that relationship from 2013 is now being reviewed, after the woman contacted Fox’s law firm, Rifkind, Paul, Weiss, Wharton & Garrison last month to report the allegations of sexual misconduct.
The woman also had a representative tell the business that she believed she was eventually excluded from the executives at Fox News after she terminated the relationship.
So far, the name of the woman is not revealed because she affirmed that she got pressurized into a sexual relationship with the host under threat of a comeback.
The allegation to Payne is the latest to the surface. Previously the former News anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against Fox News Chief Roger Ailes and claimed that she got terminated after she refused Roger’s sexual advances.
The claims against Payne were being leveled, as sources confirmed. On the other side, Payne’s attorney is yet to comment on that matter.
The 56 years old anchor has been enjoying an impressive amount of salary and has a net worth of $10 million, but it now seems that the allegations might affect his lifestyle.
