A retired Australian professional rugby league footballer, as well as star of The Footy Show, has announced through Instagram that he is expecting a second baby with his wife, Kara Orrell.
The former NRL player who retired from rugby league in 2014 following his neck injury took to Instagram to share their happy news of his wife’s pregnancy, posting a photo of his wife's pregnant belly with his hand on it.
“Three of us, soon to be four ... Excited. Happy. Blessed,” The Footy Show star shared the news with his fans.
31-year-old Beau Ryan and Kara are already parents to their four-year-old daughter Remi who was born just months after the pair married in October 2012.
Kara also shared the news on her Instagram following the lead of her husband, sharing the same photo and message to her Instagram account shortly after Ryan posted it.
Moreover, it has been a difficult couple of years for the pair, after Beau's affair with his former Australian children's musical group Hi-5 member Lauren Brant became public in 2015.
It has to be a coincidence that Lauren is also currently expecting her first child with her partner, Barry Hall, after they met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Last year in 2016.
Interestingly in 2016, Kara opened up about the "cheating" scandal and how both of them worked through the trying time. Kara told Woman's Day at the time by stating;
"I was actually more worried for Beau, if I'm honest, I'm probably emotionally stronger than Beau, and I could see how upset he was, so I was more concerned for him and our family."
Despite the fact that the cheating allegations became public in 2015, Kara mentioned that Beau was still a good father and good husband. She added:
"The grass isn't always greener, and while it was a difficult situation, running from anything in life is never the answer,"
Whatever happened in the past, it seems the couple has moved on from the tragedy. Well, congratulations to the couple!#Kara Orrell # Australian rugby league footballer
