The Challenge veteran, age 38, and his model girlfriend, Lili Solares got married on 8 September 2018 in Florida, surrounded by friends and family.

On the day of his wedding, Chris was dressed in all white tuxedo while his wife, Lili wore a beautiful white gown.
It was MTV News who first broke the news of the pair’s wedding. And, an hour later, MTV’s The Challenge confirmed the news of the Brooklyn, New York native getting married to his girlfriend of three years by putting up an Instagram post with the caption that read:
"CHOO CHOO! Wedding train coming through! CT IS MARRIED! Let’s send him our love in the comments!"
The court's paper which was released soon after the news of the pair being married broke, however, suggests that Chris and his wife, Lili had already married at a courthouse in Coral Gables in May earlier this year.

Chris’s wedding with his wife, Lili guest list boasted the likes of Cara Maria Sorbello, Derrick Kosinski, Leroy Garrett, Shane Landrum, Tony Raines and Wes Bergmann in attendance. Also, in the attendance was their 2-year-old son, Christopher Tamburello Jr.

The newlyweds had begun dating back in 2015 but opted to keep their relationship under the wraps. However, it wasn’t after the birth of their child, Chris Jr in the winter of 2017, that they decided to make their relationship public.

Chris, who made a return to The Challenge after two years sabbatical in 2017, credits his son behind his decision to return to the show. Speaking to Hollywood Life in February of 2017, he explained:
"The main reason I came back, I know there’s going to come a time where he’s going to see me on TV. I want him to see me as I am today, and not some punk running around with his head cut off, smashing heads, you know."
It is widely believed that Chris’ decision to leave the show may have stemmed from his need to take his mind off following the death of his co-star and ex-girlfriend, Diem Brown who had succumbed to cancer in 2014.
