Media Mogul Roger Ailes, who resigned his position as a CEO and Chairman of Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel last year because of sexual harassment allegations dies at the age of seventy-seven at his home in Palm Beach on May 10.

Mr. Ailes’ wife Elizabeth Ailes (married 1998, February 14) confirmed the death of her husband, which was first confirmed by Matt Drudge, a conservative blogger. Fifty-seven years old Elizabeth Ailes said-

“I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, passed away this morning. Roger was a loving husband to me, to his son Zachary, and a loyal friend to many.”

According to the authorities, Roger Ailes died when he fell and struck his head eight days after he faced complications of a subdural hematoma.  The New York Times stated-

“The cause was complications of a subdural hematoma that Mr. Ailes sustained when he fell and struck his head on May 10 at his home in Palm Beach, Fla.”

When the news about the death of Roger Ailes confirmed, various people gloated about his death all over the social media. Here are some of the responses as well as reactions to the news about Roger Ailes’ death.

Mr. Ailes resigned from Fox last summer when former Fox News Channel Host Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against Roger Ailes with charges of sexual harassment. Carlson also said that she was fired after she refused to have a sexual relationship with the former CEO. However, Roger Ailes denied the allegation by Gretchen Carlson.

Likewise, the former Fox News Presenter Alisyn Camerota too filed a lawsuit against ex-CEO with charges of sexual harassment on April this year.

Rest in Peace Roger!
