Injured George Clooney Hospitalized After Accident In Italy! Scooty Meets Car

American actor George Clooney, who has received three Golden Globe Awards for his work, has met with an accident on the Italian island of Sardina. It has been reported that George was driving a scooter which collided with a car near the town of Olbia, as he was leaving his hotel in Costa Corallina, north of the island.

According to the report from Police, the incident took place at around eight past fifteen in the morning when the driver of the car allegedly is not "respect the right of way" while crossing across the star's path which resulted in hitting him.

George went off the balance and fell off his scooter. However, the driver of the Mercedes estate stopped and rendered for assistance calling the ambulance to the spot.  

After the fall, the actor, George, who is married to Amal Clooney, was rushed to the emergency room of John Paul II hospital. He was reported with “a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and an arm,” according to La Nuova.

According to some local sources, it has also come to light that the father of one-year-old twins, underwent an MRI.

However, George did not acquire any major injuries and was discharged soon after he was hospitalized for a brief period of time. The doctors at the hospital have suggested him to visit later for physiotherapy to repair the minor damages caused.

Hearing the news that her husband has been injured, Amal rushed down to the hospital to be by his side. After George was given all clear from the hospital, the couple left together driving back to the hotel in their private car.

George along with his wife and one-year-old twins, Alexandra and Ella were enjoying the seaside from the Italian island who were also joined by his parents for part babysitting.

George was in Sardina for several weeks to shoot his series “Catch 22” which is based on a 1961 novel by Joseph Heller about the United States Army Air Forces (USAFF) during Second World War in Italy. George directs the series and also has a role in it.
