American actress Hallie Meyers-Shyer is off for the wedding!
Hallie's overjoyed mother, Nancy Meyers was the one to announce the news of her daughter's engagement to entrepreneur Ophir Tanz on Thursday, 30th August via an Instagram picture.

In the image the film director Nancy shared, the 31-year-old Home Again star was sharing all smiles after being engaged, where she also flaunted her diamond ring.

The Home Again star and her soon-to-be-husband started dating about six years ago, but have not disclosed much the initiation of their romance.
Ophir, who celebrates his birthday on 4th of May every year, works as the CEO of an artificial intelligence company called GumGum, which focusses on providing technologies to machines that can help them solve visual-related problems.
The newly-engaged couple has also rescued an American Eskimo dog, and the two are raising it as their family member.

Similarly, the pair is also travel-enthusiasts, who loves spending their free times visiting different places.
Most recently in June 2018, Hallie and her now-fiance had traveled to Mexico City, Mexico; where the lovers spent some quality romantic time together. On 3 June 2018, The Parent Trap star also posted a picture with her future husband from the capital city of Mexico.

The Los Angeles, California native is the daughter of Charles Shyer and Nancy Meyers. Her parents were married in 1980 and separated after remaining together for nearly 19 years in 1999.
Hallie's parents both work as directors in movies. Her dad, Charles is famous for directing films including The Father of the Bride, The Father of the Bride Part II, The Parent Trap, The Affair of the Necklace and more.
Similarly, Nancy has also directed some critically and commercially successful movies such as Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, The Intern, What Women Want and so on.

Hallie's sister Annie, who is the eldest daughter of her parents, had previously got married to husband Robby Koch in a wedding ceremony held at Nancy's Pacific Palisades backyard in September 2012.
Hallie and Ophir have not yet disclosed the date or venue of their wedding, but after a surprise engagement, the pair may take their fans by another surprise.
