The former NHL star, Mike Comrie is under sexual assault investigation as he is accused of raping a woman numerous times at his home.
Hillary Duff’s ex-husband, Mike was alleged for the rape on Saturday night by a woman. LAPD is now investigating him. According to TMZ, the woman who says herself as a victim met Mike at a bar Saturday night and went to his West L.A. condo with him where he raped her multiple times. She said that a rape kit was administered when she immediately went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Conversely, a source close to Mike said that the woman and Mike knew each other for a long time and the sex was consensual. TMZ stated-
“Sources connected with Comrie say he’s known the woman for a long time and acknowledges he had sex with her, but insists she gave full consent. The sources also say the encounter was a 3-way and the other woman has not filed any complaint.”
However, Mike hasn’t commented on the allegation. After the charge had gone viral, he was pictured on Wednesday walking in LA.
Mike Comrie who played for the NHL for 13 years, married Hilary Duff in the year 2010 after dating each other for three years. They together have a son named Luca born in March 2012.
Hillary filed for divorce in Feb. 2015 citing irreconcilable differences though they were separated in early 2014. Their divorce was finalized after a year, and since then they share joint legal and physical custody of their son. Hillary is now involved in a romantic relationship with her new boyfriend, Matthew Koma.
