The Oscar-winning actor George Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife Amal Clooney have become parents for the first time as Amal gives birth to twins on 6th June 2017.
The high-powered couple welcomed daughter Ella and son Alexander on Tuesday morning. A representative for George and his wife Amal confirmed the birth of Ella and Alexander. The spokesman said-
“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.”
The spokesman joking added-
“George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”
Earlier this year in February, George Clooney opened up about his feelings for being a father for the first time on the French TV show "Rencontres de Cinema." George explained-
"We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all ... with arms wide open."

The news about George and his wife Amal expecting twins was revealed earlier this year in January after Amal was suspected to be pregnant during the couple's appearance at the screening of The White Helmets.
