Shattered Hearts! Bryan Tanaka Splits with His Girlfriend Mariah Carey after Five Months of Dating

They are done and dusted with it. The five-month relationship between dancer Brian Tanaka and his girlfriend, Mariah Carey is now over. The couple began dating on Carey's docuseries, "Mariah's World" after her broken engagement to Aussie billionaire James Packer back in October 2016.

This news is a heartbreak for many who were fans of this relationship between the dancer and the singer who were surrounded by the rumors of getting engaged after Mariah rocked her ring finger with a ring that looked like an engagement ring. There are reports that Mariah is the one to break up with Brian. A source told People:

“The split happened very recently. Mariah ended it — everyone hoped that she would. She has better things to focus on. Mariah is happy. She is focusing on her kids and new music.”

Some sources reveal that the reason behind the ending of their relationship is the fact that Maria attended the Kids' Choice Awards earlier this March with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon with the former couple's twin kids and Brian got jealous of it.

Nick who doubted the relationship between Tanaka and Carey and the authenticity of their scenes of the docuseries said,

"First of all, I think the whole reality show is fake. I'm a producer, so I know how [it works]. … I don't buy none of that s--t. … It feels like they wrote the story. That s--t is like a soap opera."

Carey was also reportedly tired of paying the bills for Brian's obsession with expensive jewelry. Moreover, Mariah reportedly doubted if Brian just was trying to be famous by being with her. 

There is also news that the two did not see or speak to one another since the two traveled to Cabo together at the end of March which shows that some discomfort was there between them at that time.
