For the matter of fact, Hector Lombard is one-time Olympic judo competitor and currently fights as a welterweight in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
As of now, he’s dating Canadian UFC fighter Valerie Letourneau. With nickname such as “Trouble”, Valerie, @ValTroubleMMA, competes in Women’s flyweight division and is ranked Ninth overall.

It was perhaps Valerie Letourneau’s biggest fight of her career, and she didn’t have her most influential partner around her corner. Valerie Letourneau’s fight was against Women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193 on November 15, 2015, in Melbourne, Australia. Lombard was tested positive for a designer steroid and was suspended for a year by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).
Under the rules of the UFC's new anti-doping policy run by USADA, an athlete is not allowed to have someone currently under sanctions to be in his or her corner during a fight.
She could have faced disciplinary action herself if Lombard had been in her corner.
"The only thing that hurts us is that Hector is such a big part of my improvement in my career in the past two or three years, that I just feel that it's disgusting for him not being able to be there," Letourneau said (in November, 2015) at UFC 193 open workouts.
"But he's gonna be in the crowd, and he knows how much I care and how grateful for how much he's been helping me. But the job is done, and I will go there with no corner and still do my job." Valerie added in an interview.
Eventually, Valerie Letourneau lost via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, and 50-45).
Retirement Rumors?
Although Lombard was knocked out by Dan Henderson at UFC 199 on 4th June 2016, there are no any rumors of his retirement.
