After five years of their dating relationship, the couple decided to step up their relationship in 2018. They took their relationship to the next level when Ryan proposed her with a massive emerald-cut engagement ring at the Caribbean beach.
The engagement news surfaced after the 32-year-old songwriter showed off her engagement ring on Instagram on 2 January 2018. She quoted the Instagram picture writing she was mesmerized by the exquisite ring when Ryan proposed her.

After flashing the blinding rock on her finger, in another post, the bride-to-be shared a shot of herself kissing her fiance, writing,
"he said to me, before I met you, my world was in black and white. You colored it in between the lines. It was the most beautiful thing anybody's ever said to me. How could I possibly say no to that?"
Her fiance Gleason also shared the photo of the engagement ring on his social media account, quoting himself as the "Luckiest guy in the world!!!"

Well, the newly-engaged couple has not talked about getting married yet. However, Alexa's Mom, actress Christie Brinkley is impassionately waiting to see her daughter wear the bridal dress. The loving mother posted a snap of the lovebirds on Instagram, writing,

Well, after the All I Can Do Is Love singer announced the engagement news, her mother Brinkley took to Instagram to congratulate her daughter. She proudly declared that she was 'over the moon with joy' for the newly betrothed couple.
The 64-year-old supermodel, Christie Brinkley, on 9 April 2018, told US Weekly that her husband would likely perform at their daughter's wedding. She Said,
“I’ve never known of a wedding he didn’t perform at. At this one … I don’t think it will be any different.”
It seems iconic musician Billy Joel will perform on his daughter's big day. Alexa's fiance Ryan co-owns the two restaurants, Drexler’s and Boulton and Watt, with the famous restaurateur, Darin Rubell.
