Born on October 5, 1964, Christian Laura Simpson is the daughter of former Canadian Olympic athlete Marion Simpson. She had got her graduation degree from the University of Western Ontario in London. She is popular as hockey reporter, host, and interviewer. She worked several years as a Marketing Manager at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario.

She entered in broadcast media with Rogers Sportsnet (previously known as CTV Sportsnet) when the Canadian sports channel launched in 1998. She launched her feature film ébut in Saw 3D in 2010. She served as a host in a program named Donna Evans. In 2002, she made a guest appearance as a female pilot, Martha Mathers on the hit TV show.
