In the year 2016, the sexy Instagram model Dakota Gonzalez was rumored to be the new love interest of Drake. In October that year, Dakota was alleged to be Drake’s new girlfriend after she was said to be getting cozy with the rapper after joining him for star-studded after parties.
The green-eyed beauty and the rapper were reportedly spending quality time together and were also attending different concerts with each other. Dakota and Drake were first spotted together at Lady Rebels’ game and were reportedly hanging out since November 2015.
The couple was further spotted at an epic after party in Las Vegas on September 11, 2016, where Rihanna was rumored to be the attendees. Talking about the party; a source told Life & Style Weekly-
“When Rihanna found out about Dakota, they had a blowout fight.”
The source continued-
“She immediately told Drake that it’s over. When Rihanna isn’t at Drake’s concerts, Dakota is often there by his side.”
In an interview with Slam earlier this year in June, Dakota and her twin sister Dylan were asked whether they will make any appearance with Drake in any upcoming songs or not.
They revealed that they are good friends with Drake, but has planned to do something by themselves on their first project, as they don’t want to achieve the desired height of success with the help of their famous friends. They explained-
“For our first project, we wanted to do something ourselves. I think that when you use a lot of features, you kind of lose your own sound and don’t present yourself as a strong artist. We wanted to be able to stand on our own two legs without another big time artist. We want to grow ourselves in the most organic way. However, being friends with all of these incredible artists is definitely inspiring because we get to see what we’re trying to do and how we’re going to get there.”
Neither Dakota nor Drake has commented on the rumor regarding their dating and affair. So it seems that we’ll just have to wait a little longer to find out the details relating to the chemistry between them.
According to Dakota’s bio, she was born to parents David and Angela Gonzalez on December 9, 1994, in Overland Park, KS. Dakota also has a twin sister Dylan Gonzalez. The twin sisters, who enjoy a successful singing career, have additional six siblings.
