Danny spent most of his childhood in the boxing ring with his primary trainer, his father. At the age of ten, his father took him to the Philadelphia's Harrowgate Boxing Club after he was legally allowed to do so.
But Danny professionally began boxing only when he was nineteen in 2007, and won his first 32 fights as a pro.
