Speaking of her parents and family, she comes from a Malaysian-Chinese descent from her paternal side and her mother was an Austrian native. She has a younger sibling, a brother named Michael. His father had first immigrated to China as a child and later again moved to the UK at the age of 16 during the Malaysian Riot War in the 1960s. He later met and married Rachel’s mother there.
