The Sports Presenter Leaving The Show: Fired or Choice?

In the year 2005, he joined ESPN NEWS and ESPN Sportscenter in 2007. He also hosted live afternoon edition of SportsCenter. He was also the substitute anchor for Baseball Tonight and a substitute studio host for ESPN2's  Friday Nights Fight.

After working for such a long time of 11 years, on 4th Feb 2016, the sports host posted on his Facebook stating his resignation from ESPN channel. Despite getting a hefty salary of approximately $700 thousand and being an old member, what might be the reason for the host for taking such step?

As posted on his Facebook account he has clearly shown his willingness to work for the Worldwide Leader(ESPN) since the age of 20. The host has shown tremendous excitement to start the next chapter of his life with more opportunity, more security and has shown gratitude towards the channel for the incredible experience

How are you? In a few weeks, I’ll be leaving ESPN. With almost 11 years in, I’ve never worked at a place longer. Shout out to the GAP for being number 2 on that list. I’ve wanted to work at the Worldwide Leader since I was 20 years old, and in many ways it was a dream come true. I’m excited for this next chapter in my life. I had an opportunity to be on the reboot of Sportscenter’s morning show, but I wanted more; more security, more creativity. I’ll always be grateful for my experiences at ESPN, and all that I’ve learned; it’s just time to apply those lessons somewhere else. I have so many lasting memories in my decade plus.

The sports anchor has been favorite for all the viewers, his witty nature and exceptionally well the sense of humor will be immensely missed by the ESPN lovers. He was one of the personalities whose anchoring was profoundly liked by millions of people. The channel will miss this most desired sports anchor. One of his fans has commented in his post as,

Is He Single? Or Secretly Dating a Girlfriend?

Having plenty of female fan following, the anchor has remained quiet about his relationship status. Thus, it's really difficult to identify whether this personality has wife or children or is he dating any women.Even though he is an active member of Twitter nothing has been disclosed yet. Hence, we cannot say whether he is gay or bisexual or straight.
