Scott Baio’s Wife Renee Sloan Reveals Brain Tumor Battle - Multiple Health Struggles!

Renee Sloan's Health Problem; Never Ending?
American actress Renee Sloan announced that she was suffering from a Microvascular Brain Disease while replying to one of her fans who asked about her health.
In her Twitter account that goes by the handle "@MrsScottBaio," Renee tweeted that she was diagnosed with the disease five months ago in October 2017.
Besides having 2 meningioma brain tumors, in Oct 2017 I also learned I have Microvascular Brain Disease.

Renee's husband Scott also shared her post and confirmed the news via his account. There, saying that Renee was the toughest person he had known, Scott wrote:
Unfortunately, this is true. Renee is forever my rock, my life & my soulmate! Toughest person I know.

The disease, also known as Microvascular ischemic disease, is triggered in the brain due to the changes in brains' small blood vessels, according to the Health Line.
The severe form of the disease can cause symptoms of depression, cognitive impairment, and trouble with walking and balance eventually leading to stroke, dementia, and even death if left untreated.
After the disclosure, Scott talked about his wife's health issues with The Blast on 10 March 2018.
Revealing to the entertainment magazine The Blast that his wife was once a stunt woman and had a massive brain injury due to a jet ski accident, Scott said:
she was a former stuntwoman and had a massive brain injury in 92 due to a jet ski accident. We don’t know if her tumors and this new disease has anything to do with this.
He even added that Renee should go through a peaceful routine to escape the effects of the disease, stating:
All we know is she must live as stress-free, depression free and anxiety free life as possible and a get good amount of sleep each night. This new disease can cause strokes and dementia.
This is the latest, but this was not Renee's first brain disease!
In fact, the Tenessee native was diagnosed with two meningioma brain tumors in 2015. Scott had then revealed the news through one of his Facebook posts, asking his fans and followers to pray for his wife. He wrote,
“Just a few days ago we learned my wife, Renee has a meningioma brain tumor, Although 90% of these type of tumors are benign they can cause serious problems depending on the size of the tumor and the location. We are waiting to learn the exact location to see if it’s operable.”
Adding on while addressing his daughter Bailey, Scott said,
“Renee has been down some rough roads in her life, yet each time with her strong faith in God, she comes through a better and stronger person. During this time we ask for your prayers and support. My wife is my rock. She refuses to even shed one tear, nor will she question God’s will. Renee, Bailey and I will get through this and along the way maybe help educate others to get checked out (MRI with contrast) as 6,500 people each year, mostly women get these tumors.”
Renee also spoke up about her battle during the interview with the People and said she wants to help people by bringing awareness about the importance of being checked out properly. Quoting that her only intention of being public regarding her problem is too aware others, she uttered,
I only wish my health issues to be open to the public in the hope that I can educate others. I want to bring awareness to this. I’ve been suffering from migraines and cluster headaches for almost two years and was told that because I am over 40 and premenopausal, my hormones had changed. Unfortunately, a lot of women are given this explanation and they need to get checked out – an MRI did not pick up the tumor, but an MRI with contrast spotted it.
Moreover, Renee had undergone three successful lumpectomies after she got diagnosed with the early stage of Breast cancer in October 2010.
Hopefully, Renee gets rid of all her problems as soon as possible and live a disease-free life. As for now, Renee seems to be cared and supported by her daughter Bailey and her loving husband Scott, who holds a net worth that amounts over $6 million.
