Raising children as a single mother is, of course, a difficult task and it becomes more difficult if the woman is involved in a tough job like journalism. In this regard, today we are talking about a prominent journalist who alone handles her three children.

The co-anchor of Eye Witness News who is always on the move, Tony Yates is blessed with a daughter and two sons. Sarah Austyn Fennell is the elder daughter and sons are Gabriel Wendell Harvey and Alexis Naomi Fennell. Toni is raising the children as a single mother.  She lives in New Jersey with her three sweethearts.

Toni has been a responsible mother who keeps her children close to their relative and grandparents. Although her work doesn't allow her to stay at home a lot, it's evident that she has still managed to raise her kids well. Toni Yates was married to an award-winning journalist, Arthur Fennell. Arthur is the former president of National Association of Black Journalist who has received 70 awards including “Journalist of the year” in 2009 and Emmy award for “outstanding news anchor” in 2006.

Although both Toni and Arthur were involved in the same profession, things could not go well for a long term, and they separated. However, they have not yet revealed the reason for their divorce in the media. Do you know what cause for Toni and Arthur’s divorce was??

Toni Yates's Short Bio:

Belonging to black ethnicity, Toni Yates was born in 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with a major in Communications. Toni Yates is currently the co-anchor of New Jersey-based WABC-TV‘s Eyewitness News Saturday and Sunday mornings.

She is often seen reporting between 5 PM to 6 PM on the show. She mainly covers the stories from the north and central New Jersey. She started her journalistic career as a co-anchor for WTOC in Georgia and next as co-anchor of WSAV’s weekend.

In her long career, she has held multiple positions in various organizations from working in Norfolk, Virginia as morning news Journalist and communications director at March of Dimes to working as General Assignment reporter job at WGAL in Lancaster, Pennsylvania Toni is an active member of National Association of a black journalist. Besides her journalistic career, Toni is involved in Girl Scouts.
