The Disney Channel alum Christy Carlson Romano, 32, has welcomed her first child with her husband Brendan Rooney on December 24. The “Even Stevens” star Christy became a mom for the first time by giving birth to her daughter “Isabella Victoria Rooney” on Christmas Eve.
The actress herself revealed the delightful news about the birth of their first child by posting on Facebook. She wrote-
"Brendan and I are more than thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Isabella, on December 24th at approximately 4 p.m. Merry Christmas everyone!"
The baby was born healthy weighing seven lbs., 15 oz and measuring 21 inches long. Christy also revealed her happiness with PEOPLE where she says-
“Joy doesn’t begin to express how we feel this Christmas! Isabella is the greatest thing to ever happen to us and we are truly grateful to all those who have supported us during this special and momentous time.”
In the month of June at the premier of the 100th Disney Channel Original Movie premiere for “Adventures in Babysitting,” Christy revealed that she was expecting a baby with her husband Brendan Rooney right around Christmas. She said-
"December 25! Our due date is on Christmas," the mama-to-be told. "If anyone knows me, I'm obsessed with Christmas. I also have two Christmas movies coming out around the same time, so it's going to be a very Christy Christmas."
The former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano and her husband Brendan Rooney, a writer-producer and veteran first dated each other in February 2011. Rooney then proposed her during a vacation in Venice, Italy in September 2011. The couple tied the knot in an intimate and beautiful ceremony on New Year’s Eve 2014 in Canada.
