Born on June 1, 1964, in Newtown Township, Pennsylvania, Deirdre, now 51, started her journalism career from Bloomberg in 1999, when there were only a few female financial experts in the country.
She attended the University of Iowa from which she received a degree in French literature and English in 1993 and from New York University, she holds a master’s degree.
Deirdre is best known for anchoring "Money Moves", and "Risk & Reward". She left Bloomberg for Fox Business News to host a new business show "Risk & Reward" on January 31, 2014.
