On the 28th of April 2019, Giacomo Gianniotti, age 29, became a married man. The Grey's Anatomy actor tied the knot with girlfriend-cum-fiancee Nichole Gustafson in Italy.
Held at the Villa Pocci in Rome, the now-married duo's wedding ceremony began at around 4 pm and partied with the guests until late in the night. The stated venue overlooked Castel Gandolfo.

American journalist Peter Harvey, one of the most notable personality present, shared a now-deleted clip from the big day on Instagram.
On the day of their wedding, both Giacomo and his now-wife Nichole donned traditional outfits, with the former wearing a black tux and the latter going with a flowy, white gown.

The news of them getting married came a little over a year after the Acquainted actor revealed that he had popped the big question to his then-girlfriend Nichole over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Talking to Instagram in November 2017, he shared a snap of the two sharing a kiss. Then-newly engaged Giacomo captioned the photo with the words:-
"She said yes... I am truly one lucky guy, and I wouldn’t rather be walking down this crazy road of life with anyone else. I love you. Thank you."
His then-fiancee Nichole - a makeup artist by profession - confirmed the engagement via Instagram.
Addressing Giacomo - who stands 5 feet and 11 inches (1.8 m) in height - as her best friend, she dubbed the proposal as the most romantic. Also in the very post, she professed eagerness over the prospect of being his wife.

At the time of their engagement, the Italian-Canadian actor and his wife, Nichole had been dating for almost two years. Per the latter's January 2018 Instagram post, the duo enjoyed their first date in late-January 2016.
Before his romance with Nichole, Giacomo led an elusive dating life - so much so that the public doesn't have a clue about any of his ex-girlfriends. As seen on his pre-2016 Instagram posts, the Backpackers actor's only indulgences were guitar and music.
