Similarly, Jim was also required to pay a whopping sum of $916000 annually, two Connect home, $70000 for his wife’s country membership club and the entire college cost of his 15-year-old daughter. Reportedly, the marriage alimony will last until his death or till her remarriage whereas the child support was only up for two years.

The CBS sportscaster was allegedly involved in an affair with a 29-year-old beauty, Courtney Richards, back then. The affair had started since May 2008, while he was promoting a book he had written about his father.

The long term affair later converted into marriage in 9th June 2012 at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California. The couples welcomed their first baby daughter on 14th March 2014 and second child, a baby boy, on 1st Feb 2016.

Jim Nantz was born on 17th May 1959 at Charlotte, North Carolina.He attended Marlboro High School in New Jersey and attended the University of Houston in Texas majoring in broadcasting.

In the early 80s, Nantz started as an anchor and sportscaster for KHOU Houston and then became a weekend sports anchor on KSL-TV in Salt Lake City. Nantz joined CBS in 1985 as a studio host for the network's college football and basketball coverage.

He  received Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sports Personality and Play by Play in 2008 and 2009. He has been awarded five times with NSSA's National Sportscaster of the Year award(1998, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009).

In 2001, he received  honorary Doctor Of Humane Letter from the University of Houston. He was awarded the Ambassador Award of Excellence by the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission in 2012 for his involvement in the community. Currently, he is hosting Thursday Night Football games in a deal with CBS and the NFL Network with co-anchor Phil Simms.
