Towie star Lauren Goodger is so much in love with her boyfriend Joey Morrisson who is serving his time in jail.
In an interview, she sits down with therapist Mandy Saligari of Channel 5 in the show “Celebrities In Therapy” where she opens up about her relationship with Joey.
When asked how did they get to know each other, she said that she knew him before he went to jail but again got connected after receiving Joey’s call at a mutual friend’s house and started dating since September 2016.
It was in 2010 that Joey was convicted for possession of a firearm, kidnap, blackmail, actual bodily harm and aggravated burglary
Right now Joey is serving his part of 17 years sentence in HMP Standford Hill in Kent.
He has already served seven years and is waiting to be released in 21 months.
Talking about their present situation in the interview, she exclaims,
“This is the weirdest relationship ever, but it's exciting and I think that's what I like. I think it's different and he's my type and everything."

She also told the therapist,
"He went inside at 24-years-old, to me I think he's amazing and I don't judge him because he broke the law and he's in prison. He's not a bad person. He would never hurt or harm anyone.
"He's got 21 months left to serve. I think he's learned his lesson but he was involved in the wrong thing, he didn't really do anything that bad. He was involved in something and he got a long sentence for it. So I'm protective over him."
Also when asked what it is that she craves in a family life, she answered,
“Lots of love, and it’s calm, and it’s homely and it’s happy and it’s strong.”
Lauren only gets to see Joey for two hours twice a week, when she goes to visit him in prison. To get connected with him in rest of the days, she revealed that she spends hours chatting to Joey on the phone and even when she is not at home; she has ensured not to miss a single call and has diverted her home phone to the cell.
There was a lot of rumors that she was going to be the mother of Joey’s child, but she denies and says,
"There has been a lot of speculation that I’m trying for a baby with him but I’m not at the moment."
