They're Officially Married!
The Afghan-American actress, Layla Alizada got married in an intimate wedding with her longtime boyfriend turned fiancé, Shameless actor Noel Fisher on July 15, 2017. The couple exchanged deep felt vows in the wedding ceremony amid 60 close friends and family.
Talking about the big day with the People, the couple shared,
“We always wanted a wedding that was small and intimate. It was a magical day and even more special having so much of it put together with the help of our loved ones,”
Sharing this magical day with your loved ones is a great feeling. The duo added,
“So grateful for the people in our lives, and that everyone was able to share this day with us.”
Fisher chose the outfit of Kenneth Cole, and Alizada wore the dress by Morilee. For their big day, a Mediterranean-inspired menu and Patricium white wine were served at the reception.
The pair first met in 2005 on the set of TV series Godiva’s and starred alongside two seasons. But they started dating after the wrap party, where they shared their first kiss later that night.
After years of relationship, the pair got engaged on August 2014, after Noel Fisher popped the question during a tropical romantic getaway in Bora Bora.
The couple shares their cute moments via their Instagram, but they are yet to share snaps from their wedding. Moreover, the pair, who is now living in Los Angeles, hasn’t talked much about their honeymoon trip so far.
Layla Alizada(39), who is six years senior to Fisher(33) in age has appeared in a number of TV shows. Some of her appearances include The Muppets, The Mentalist, and Melissa & Joey. On the other side, Noel Fisher is very famous for his gay role in the US version of Shameless as Mickey Milkovich.
The striking raven-haired beauty and her now husband together have starred together in 2016 in the Oscar nominated short film “Day one.”
