Uncurable Injury!

Captain of Liverpool, Jordan Henderson was informed that there is no medical cure for the heel injury that forced him to miss three months of Liverpool’s 2015 season and will have to live with the pain for the foreseeable future.

The Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson made his first appearance under then new manager of Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp in December 2015 after being sidelined since August of 2015 with the heel condition; plantar fasciitis in his left foot. His rehabilitation was hindered as he broke a metatarsal in his right foot during training just a month later his previous injury.

Henderson stated:

“It’s been incredibly difficult, not just for me but for the staff as well. With my metatarsal I knew exactly what kind of time scale I’d be out for but with my heel there isn’t a timescale, there isn’t really a cure. That’s been the most difficult part. It’s been hard but I’ve had good people around me like Chris Morgan [the head of physiotherapy] and all the staff here. There have been times when I’ve been pretty down because we couldn’t find the answers. Now I’m at a point where I can function, where I can train and start playing some part in games. Hopefully I can continue like that and it will continue to improve.”

Henderson: One of Kopites!

This Sunderland-born star, Jordan Henderson, is married to Rebecca Burnett, and the duo is parents to daughters Elexa, three years old and 15-month-old Alba.

Anfield was given a new look on 26th November 2016 as Liverpool turned their LED displays rainbow in recognition of Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign. Captain Jordan Henderson wore a special captain’s armband for the Premier League encounter against his former club Sunderland in Anfield.

The initiative has helped to raise awareness of issues faced by gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) fans and aims to tackle homophobic, biphobic and transphobic attitudes in sports.

Liverpool won that game with Origi and Milner scoring in Anfield.

Moreover, captain Jordan Henderson delighted a young Kopite by giving him his shirt just moments after the Liverpool's 3-0 win over Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium on 15th December 2016.

The young Reds follower Alfie got the perfect gift during his midweek trip to Teeside when the skipper made a beeline for the visiting fans immediately after the dominant display against Aitor Karanka's team where Adam Lallana scored twice and Origi scored a goal.

For a change, Jordan Henderson has opted for a fresh haircut in 2017, and his Barber Lewie Valentino posted a video of the England international's latest hairstyle.
