Born on 15 July 1946, Derek Griffiths is a British actor who has appeared in numerous British Children’s television series. He is best known for his performance in Play School (1964-1998).   

Some of his notable Children’s television works are "Play away(1991)", "Christopher Crocodile" (1993), "Little Red Tractor" (2004) and "Sarah & Duck" (2014). 

Similarly, he has appeared in many the movies including" Up Pompeii!"(1971), "Don't Just Lie There, Say Something!"(1973), and "Run for Your Wife"(2012). 

He can be currently seen in the British Soap opera Coronation Street.
