One of such courageous actors is Alexander Vlahos, who portrays a gay character with ease, but denies the gay sexuality in real life. Portraying a gay person with utmost conviction in onscreen; he is very much in love in real life.

Alexander's On-screen Gay role: 

Alexander Vlahos has portrayed a gay character, Philippe I in a popular series Versailles, which depicts the story of France around the 17th century. Vlahos claims to have lived and breathed the Philippe character, and is extremely proud to represent an intense love story. During an interview with Evening Standard, he expressed his views about the role as,

"The funny thing is that we never say that they’re gay, we never use the word homosexual. People see in these two guys, that just so happen to be guys, a beautiful, three-dimensional relationship based on truth, and respect, and deviance – but that’s what any relationship has.”

Later, in June 2018, Vlahos has confirmed the end of the series, Versailles claiming the third season to be its final season. 

His Relationship Status Beyond the Screen

Despite his onscreen gay identity,  Alexander Vlahos is blissfully "engaged" with model and Endeavour actress Kajsa Mohammar in reality. The couple had followed five years of dating before getting engaged on 28 July 2016; Alexander popped the question and picked Twitter to express his happiness.

Alexander Vlahos has been leaving no stone unturned to shower his love for his girlfriend during his dating period with Kajsa Mohammar since May 2012.His love is clearly visible in his Twitter post.

Recently, Kajsa also shared a post on Twitter to cherish their togetherness of five years.

Moreover, Kajsa took Instagram to express her pride on Alexander’s "Versailles" and urged followers to view his amazing work.

The couple loves to make various public appearances together. Recently, the couple attended BAFTA, and Alexander took Instagram to flaunt the moment.

Although Alexander portrays a gay character onscreen, he is a loving fiancé in real life. Alexander and Kajsa are supportive of each other, and time and again shower their love over social media.

Although the couple has not yet revealed their exact wedding date, we can be sure that the day when they will take vows is right around the corner. We hope for the couple reveals the exact date soon.
