Find out about her personal life.

For years Louise Lear has been a part of the BBC mostly as a weather presenter to give the viewers of BBC, weather reports and forecasts. But who is Louis Lear in her personal time? Let us learn about her private life and if she is married.

Her Personal Life: Married, Husband, and Children

Yes, the BBC weather presenter is a married woman, and she already has two kids. Not much is known about her family but both her children her sons. Their names are Jamie and Miles. Ian Lear, her husband, is an architecture. It has also come to light that they have already renovated four houses and also a cottage that they used to live in temporarily with their children, every time they renovated.

Besides this, not much information is known about her husband or her children. The only place their names are mentioned is in the story on one of their renovated houses in the magazine ‘Good Homes’ and also written on Ashley Morrison’s blog.

This is the very reason that Louise Lear for the first time presented a show that was not weather related, ‘Trading Up.' It was a show related to buying and selling properties.

Lear is not very active in Social Media as well. So, this much is the only thing we could dig out of her personal life. Even her only Facebook page had only one picture of her and her husband, Ian.

Her Career Life:

But her professional life is well displayed. She first started in BBC as the as the Children’s BBC’s reporter. But she had begun as a weather presenter for Central television in 1992 and LBC in 1996. She was included in the BBC’s weather center only in 1998.

Can't Stop Giggling:

There are very few things funnier than things taking a turn for humor on live TV. There are has been a lot of happenings on TV that has forced even veteran journalists to break their character and burst into laughter.

Louise Lear also couldn't seem to control her giggles on August 2016 when Simon McCoy asked her for a weather report. The cause of her laughter remained unknown, but by judging on how much the weather presenter had a hard time to make a straight face, it must have been a good joke or something.

However, This wasn't her only blooper that stained her image. Back in 2010, she almost caused her co-worker, Fiona Bruce to blow up on air after she ran late to her segment.

Fiona tried to keep the show moving well, trying to point at Louis' weather segment. Unfortunately, the presenter was not ready for her shot yet and how she kept the show frozen was definitely a hilarious moment, especially considering her words which went along the lines of,

" Well let's take a look at the weather now, with Louis Lear *awkward silence* ....She will be getting here in just a moment, she's getting ready ... she's poising herself ... besides the weather, we are on tenterhooks to find out what she's going to say ... I could tell you about the weather myself, actually as Louise gets ready, but actually, I don't really know what it's going to be like, but Louise is the woman to tell us ... Louise, are you ready?".,

The screen eventually moved on to a flustered Louis who tried to make herself look a lot more presentable and apologizing for her accident and adding,

"Slowly but surely, we will get there in the end....You will have to excuse the unfitted jacket but never mind ... erm ...rain for all of us at some point through the day today...."

Statements were quickly released about the incident citing the breaking news of J.D. Salinger's death as the reason for the irregularity in the show's schedule where the running order of the show and its segments were changed at the last moment. The statement was quoted as,

"Louise had to move her position at the last minute due to a change in the running order to accommodate the breaking news of JD Salinger's death."

Great to see that she's still human at heart!

Louis Lear currently resides happily with her husband and children in London. Lear, who had graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music and Drama, loves to play the Clarinet and the Piano as well as to visit the theater. She also has the desire in cookery and keeps herself fit by skiing.
