The loss of a mother is the biggest tragedy in a person's life. A mother is irreplaceable, and no one can take the place of your mother.
We would like to pray the Lord to provide Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro ample strength at this moment, as his mother Mary Valastro has passed away at the age of 69 on June 22, 2017.
In an emotional post over on Instagram on June 22, 2017, he wrote,
“It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I must share the news of my mother’s passing,”
“She left for heaven this morning, surrounded by the family. This is a difficult time for all of us and I do ask for your patience and respect while we let this sink in. Her battle with ALS has ended, she is no longer suffering and I hope she’s dancing to ‘I Will Survive’ with my dad right now.”
Her long-standing battle with ALS resulted in the demise of her.
As per reports, Mary passed away amid all of her children, Buddy and his sisters, Lisa, Maddalena, Grace, and Mary.
Mary Valastro was born in 1948 in Italy and moved to Hoboken, N.J. with her family when she was just six in age. She purchased the "Carlo’s Bakery" back in the 1960s, a bakery which Buddy later took over in 1994. The bakery is set to be closed on Tuesday per sources.
Marry's daughter Lisa Gonzales posted a touching homage to her beloved mother.
Her grandchildren also shared touching tributes to Mary.
Another grandchild, Joseph Sciarrone shared,

Buddy now has his father, Bartolo Valastro, Sr., his wife Lisa Valastro, with whom he got married to back in 2001, and his children, Sofia Valastro, Marco Valastro, Carlo Valastro, and Buddy Valastro, Jr. and his siblings as his family.
