Christina El Moussa Ends Marriage With Husband And Rumor Has It That The Split Will Affect Couple's Professional Lives
Flip or Flop star Christina El Moussa had a mixed bag year in the form of 2016. She has separated from her estranged husband as well as her co-star from the show and the split might affect her professional career.
There’s been a serious doubt about the future of HGTV's popular Flip Or Flop reality show and the reason behind it is their married co-hosts, Tarek and Christina El Moussa revealed they had separated. There are rumors that three more episodes of the show are to be filmed in the new year and the show would come to an end. However, HGTV did not confirm the news and said:
'The series will continue production as scheduled.'
The couple split on December 12 earlier 2016 after a scary incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt. The accident took place in May of 2016 when authorities countered "a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun" at Terek and Christina's Orange County home. According to law enforcement involved, a massive presence showed up which included 11 deputies and a helicopter.
Witnesses revealed cops that they saw Tarek with a gun, running out the back door and flee down a hiking trail. Shortly after they spot Tarek with a gun, Christina was seen running out of the house crying and shaking.
Within an interval of minutes, the helicopter spotted gun holder Tarek on a trail and deputies told him to drop his weapon. Tarek told deputies that he had no intention of hurting himself neither his wife but wanted to "blow off some steam," and he brought the gun for protection from mountain lions and rattlesnakes.
On December 19, the pair released a joint statement that read:
 'Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage.
Moreover, they added:
'We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.'
Christina recently uploaded an image of her eventful year on December 31 which is a photo collage of her moments with family, i.e. her ex-husband and their children Taylor, 6, and Brayden, 16 months. Christina was pregnant back in 2015 and gave birth to their son Brayden James on August 20, 2015.
