How did it all begin?

Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney both grew up in the Liverpool suburb of Croxteth. Both of them started dating in their final year of school when they were still adolescent at the tender age of sixteen.

Their relationship came into the limelight when Wayne became England’s youngest football player at just 17 years old (later broken by Theo Walcott).

The couple married with the right degree of pomp at the Villa Durazzo, a 17th Century Palace in the resort of Santa Margherita Ligure in Italy on June 12, 2008.

Then deputy mayor of Santa Margherita, Gianni Costa, was present at the ceremony along with some family members, and other special delegates were also present at the wedding. Details of the wedding were kept under cover, as part of a £2.5m magazine deal.

Costa, however, said the afterward couple didn’t exchange rings, 

"The bride looked lovely in white, and the groom wore a brown suit with no tie. No rings were exchanged, and the ceremony was very simple yet very beautiful."

Coleen Rooney gave birth to a baby boy on November 2, 2009, and named him Kai Wayne. The couple's second child, son Klay Anthony, was born on 21 May 2013.

Coleen and Wayne Rooney announced the arrival of their new baby boy and named him Kit Joseph Rooney on January 24, 2016. So, summing up, Rooney's family consist of Wayne, Coleen, and the three kids: Kai, Klay, and Kit.
