Let's read to get answers to the above question.

David Chang Was Engaged:

David Chang's food recipes are famously known to every foodie but it is not the same case for David's dating life.

Back in 2013, the reports stated that the renowned chef, David Chang fell in love with Gloria Lee, a Sydney public relations executive at Gucci in the United States, whom he could turn into a wife.

On February 9, 2013, David reportedly proposed his then-girlfriend, Gloria Lee with a diamond ring. Gloria Lee accepted and eventually, David and Gloria got engaged at the end of 2012.

David sealed his lips when asked whether he is engaged or not, but an Insider revealed their engagement date. The Insider also disclosed that David flew with his then-girlfriend to the US to meet his family and proposed Lee. Lee later shared an Instagram image with her diamond ring dining at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington DC and announced the engagement.

Despite being engaged, David's relationship could not survive the growing difference between the pair. In an interview with Vogue in August 2013, the chef David mentioned about the troubled romantic relationship with Gloria.

Acknowledging Gloria as his girlfriend, David also confessed that Gloria worried that his fame might crush her and her fears were not unreasonable at all.

In the times of dealing with differences, David was spotted with his Gloria Lee at an event in September 2013. David was dressed in a black suit for the occasion while Gloria complimented him in the pink dress.

However, David and Gloria split before they could get married to each other and had kept the split's exact dates and the reason a mystery.

David's relationship failed before he could exchange wedding vows and live a married life.
