Helen Skelton was born on 19th July 1983, to Richard and Janet Skelton in Kirkby Thore, England. The parents of Helen have always played a supportive role in Helen's life.
It was only last year when Richard confronted media to express his thoughts on the comments about his daughter's Olympic dress to slam those critics.
“I’m surprised to be on the show at all, This is a non-story. I’m surprised its made the front pages of the news. I thought we’d moved on from this, obviously, we haven’t, she’s just out there doing a great job.”
Helen spent her childhood with her brother, Gavin Skelton. Talking about her academics, Helen studied journalism at Cumbria Institute of the Arts. She then worked as a presenter of the TV show 'Countryfile' and later hosted the children's BBC program 'Blue Peter' from 2008 to 2013.
