Justin Prentice's Wiki-Like Bio:

In Justin’s wiki like bio, we will share facts along with his statements in various interviews as well.

Justin Prentice was born on March 25, 1994. He is from the Old Hickory, Tennessee- a suburb of Nashville and going down the memory lane; he shared his young days in an interview on April 14, 2017. He said,

"I grew up with a cabin so we'd always go out and hunt and fish and all that good stuff, all of the cliché Southern things one would imagine." Later, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.

He decided to become an actor at an early age which he revealed as,

"I don’t know. I remember I was really young. I would say around six or eight years old, and my mom and I were just rollerblading in an empty parking lot and I brought it up. I was like, “Hey, I think I want to be an actor [laughter].” She was like, “Why?” And I was like, “I don’t know. I just–” because she thought it was going to be for fame, or fortune, or something. She was like, “Is it because–” I’m like, “No, I just feel like it would be really fun.” And I had zero experience in acting, so I had no way of knowing it would be fun. I think what it was the kids in Full House and I was like, “That sh*t seems like fun and if they could do it I could totally do it.”

Justin was bullied as a kid, and he shared the incident in an interview on April 6, 2017. He explained

"It wasn’t in school, I was on a basketball team as a kid, and there were two twins who were a little older and a little bigger than I was, and there was some bullying going on there,"

Moreover, Justin remembered sharing the bullying issue with his parents. Recalling those moments, he expressed,

"I would talk to my parents about it, which was great… This is the South, so they're like, 'Just stand up to 'em! Tell 'em you're going to knock their teeth in, then you won't have a problem anymore.' I did that, and it worked, but that doesn't always work in real life."

He began his professional acting career from 2009. And talking about his recurring role as Bryce Walker from “13 Reason Why,” he shared that he prepared for his character well. He further revealed that to understand the thoughts and feelings of the character he talked to a psychiatrist.

Moreover, he has appeared in many television shows including Glee, Awkward, The Mindy Project, Criminal Minds, Victorious, Castle, CSI: Cyber, Awkward, and others. As the main cast, he acted in Malibu Country and 13 Reasons Why.
