The name Matthew Rutler is popular for dating pop diva girlfriend Christina Aguilera since 2010. Matthew and Christina first met on the sets of Burlesque. They eventually fell in love with each other and got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014.
Christina revealed the exciting news about her engagement on Twitter by sharing a beautiful picture, flaunting a gigantic diamond ring.
The couple welcomed a daughter Summer Rain Rutler on Aug. 16, 2014, just six months after their engagement. The singer and the coach of The Voice took Twitter to announce the arrival of her beautiful daughter.
Summer was the second child for Rutler’s girlfriend-turned fiancee Christina, as she is also the mother of a son, Max Bratman from her unsuccessful marriage to Jordan Bratman.
Christina got married to Jordan in November 2005 and ended her relationship with him by filing for divorce in October 2010. Her divorce was finalized in 2011.
Back in 2015, Christina opened up about her plans for wedding with Rutler, where she said,
"I want to plan it and cherish the moment, while not feeling rushed. So when the schedule is more clear and I can take some downtime again, I can focus on that. Our love is secure enough that we don't need a wedding to prove our love and commitment."
She continued saying,
"We are enjoying our daughter, our family and our work for now."
Earlier this year in July, Matthew appeared at the premiere of The Emoji Movie with his sweet family. He walked the red carpet at Regency Villiage Theatre in WestWood, California, with his soon-to be wife Christina, 9-year-old son, Max, and 2-year-old daughter, Summer.
